I. Overview of Monel 400 (N04400)

Monel 400 (N04400) is a corrosion-resistantalloy with the largest amount, the most widely used, and excellentcomprehensive properties. This alloy has excellent corrosion resistance inhydrofluoric acid and fluorine gas medium, and also has excellent corrosionresistance to hot concentrated lye. Meanwhile, it is also resistant tocorrosion by neutral solutions, water, sea water, the atmosphere, organiccompounds and the like. An important feature of this alloy is that it generallydoes not produce stress corrosion cracking and has good cutting performance.Monel400 is more resistant to corrosion by reducing media than pure nickel, andmore resistant to corrosion by oxidizing media than pure copper.

IV. Application fields:

Marine heat exchangers, desalination equipment,salt production equipment, marine and chemical processing equipment, propellershafts and pumps, gasoline and water tanks, etc.

1. Classification: Huacheng Jinyan can supplyin form of seamless pipes, steel plates, round steel, forgings, flanges, rings,welded pipes, steel strips, wire and supporting welding materials.

2. Delivery status: Seamless Tube: solidsolution + acid white, length can be fixed; Plate: solid solution, pickling,trimming; Welded Tube: solid solution acid white + RT% flaw detection; Forging:annealing + turning; the bar is delivered in the state of forging, surfacepolishing or lapping; the strip is delivered after cold rolling, solid solutionsoftening, and descaling; the wire is solid-dissolved and pickled in a disc orstraight strip, solid solution straight polished.
