I. Overview of Monel K-500(N05500)

Monel K-500 (N055000) is a corrosion-resistantalloy with the largest amount, the most widely used and excellent comprehensiveproperties. This alloy has excellent corrosion resistance in hydrofluoric acidand fluorine gas medium, and also has excellent corrosion resistance to hotconcentrated lye. Monel K-500 is suitable for working under the harshgeological mining conditions of high sulfur and high wax oil layers. Since thealloy does not have a plastic-brittle transition temperature, it is very suitablefor a variety of low temperature equipment. In addition to its excellentmechanical properties such as high strength, corrosion resistance andnon-magnetic properties, Monel K-500 also has the same corrosion resistance asMonel 400. It can be used as pump shaft material.

IV. Features:

Monel K-500 (N055000) has the same corrosionresistance as Alloy 400, but has higher mechanical strength and hardness. Ithas good heat corrosion resistance and long-term tissue stability. The alloy ismainly used in the manufacture of turbine blades and gas turbine blades with anoperating temperature below 750 ° C on aero engines; the manufacture offasteners and springs on ships; pumps and valve parts on chemical equipment;blades on papermaking equipment.

Delivery status: Seamless Tube: solidsolution + acid white, length can be fixed; Plate: solid solution, pickling,trimming; Welded Tube: solid solution acid white + RT% flaw detection; Forging:annealing + turning; the bar is delivered in the state of forging, surfacepolishing or lapping; the strip is delivered after cold rolling, solid solutionsoftening, and descaling; the wire is solid-dissolved and pickled in a disc orstraight strip, solid solution straight polished.
